More about me
I cannot remember a time when drawing or painting was not part of my life. Growing up, my wonderful mother nurtured my love for art with classes and courses, from casual garage classes, to courses at The Academy of Arts San Francisco.
I later discovered sewing and quilting, when I began working at my aunt’s quilt shop. I still work there part-time, so fabric and the quilt industry stay in the forefront of my mind. I frequently assist with buying product for the shop, teach classes, and work with quilter’s to make their projects come to life. I am known in the shop to be particularly good with color and fabric selection.
Before long, my new love for fabric, paired with my background in the arts, led me fabric design. And this has become my happy spot! I now have been a successful designer on Spoonflower for nearly a decade, as well as exploring other POD websites and licensing offers.
In 2024 I took my industry education further by completing the Immersion course with Bonnie Christine.
I have 3 school-age children, who played a pivotal role in my work. My first fabric designs were made to be used in baby goods I handmade and sold.
I am always looking for new areas to expand into, so feel free to contact me about licensing, collaborations and other projects.
